About the event
The Norris Arm Heritage and Arts Society will be hosting a commemorative event for the 25th anniversary of the 9-11 events and the part the town of Norris Arm played in hosting members of the Delta Airlines flight DL49 and their 152 passengers. The event will be hosted at the Norris Arm Heritage and Arts Centre on Sept 8th, 2026 at 6:30pm.
The 25th anniversary event will include stories of how passengers arrived as strangers and left as friends, the impact on the town, music by local musicians and include a re-enactment of events from our Star Hall Children's Theatre Group. The event will provide a hot meal for guests and offer a meet and greet with refreshments following the event. Cost to attend is $25 with pre-registration required by September 1st.
